What I won!

I still cant believe that I won the contest at Siv's Hus, and a few days ago this beautiful birdcage came in the mail! I love it!!! I couldn't wait to do something with it, and ended up decorating it with wildflowers and old bottles. It now brightens up my livingroom :)Thank you SO much Siv!!!! It's fantastic!!!

Summer has really arrived now, and it is hot hot hot. At work it is nearly impossibly hot, but thank goodness for weekends. I have 2 birthday parties this saturday, so I am sure I will overdose on cake! Ha ha....

Later I have big plans to take a nice, long swim in the river. Maybe even search for some lost treasure :) I have waited all winter for this!The cats think its alittle too hot as well, and I find them sprawled on the floor quite often, nearly panting. But all in all I do belive they are enjoying summer too...
Right, I shall be back soon with more tibits from my life. I know I havent been around much, but I hope that will change. The past couple of weeks have just been alittle crazy!!!

Finally home

After a great trip trough part of Europe to pick up my sister in Bornemouth, England, by car... I am finally home. We arrived back on monday, but due to different reasons I haven't really been up to go online to blog. However, I am back now... I will certainly show some pics from our trip, but not today...

Hexa & Huldra was over the moon when I came home, allthough Hexa was in a bit of a huff right away... Refusing to be cuddely... How DARE I stay away for a week... and when Ole came over after work (he was the one that took care of my cats when I was away) she jumped right up on his lap and sat there staring at me with "I'm-gonna-cuddle-with-Ole-instead-of-you" eyes... Ha ha... of course she caved in after a while!

I also found a winderful comment on my blog letting me know I WON the contest at Siv's Hus, so a birdcage is comming my way! I cant belive I won! Once it arrives I will have a mad photo session!!! :) :) :)

It is cold here, and rainy. I am actually having the fire going, in JUNE!!! Sigh... Where did the summer heat go?!??? I sure hope it picks up... I dont mind the rain, but the cold isn't too much fun... THAT can wait untill autumn...
Before I went to England I made some jewelry. It's been a while, but this idea had been surfing in my head for some while, and it just forced its way through, finally.If you click on the underneath picture you can check out what I used... Aparently its too small to read when it is on here....I am really liking it, and I am allready conjuring up more ideas to try out... Just need to get my hand on some more pearls ect ect... And if anyone has old, used out, fake jewelry they dont need? Send it my way, I will recycle them... Hopefully one day I will have made a few I can sell...

I've gotten my hands on some of the prettiest pelargonias I know... "Apple Blossom"... White and pink filled flowers! ah! Lovely to look at!
Lewisia in a zinc tub... I love these fragile flowers in intense colours... And finally a picture of Ole's new baby filly. He's gotten two of his own this year. Here is Jahrs Independent Diva, with her mother Sandra. They are Welsh Mountain ponies. Diva is a hearbreaker... she's cheeky and fun, and loves to cuddle! She has the cutest neighing, and a mind of her own. Hence the name... She's allready done very well for herself in a show. Won Best Foal, and her mother won Best in Show. Congrats to Ole!!!! Isn't she too adorable?And she wasnt easy to photograph either, because she kept on comming too close, and demanded cuddles! I will try and take some more pictures of the horses in my life... I tried to photograph "Barbie's" filly foal, but they didnt turn out very well... so I'll have to try that again soon...
